 Assistant Professor Dr. Tereza Trejbalová joins The School of Public Affairs

New School of Public Affairs Assistant Professor, Dr. Tereza Trejbalová.

The School of Public Affairs welcomes new Assistant Professor Tereza Trejbalová, PhD. Trejbalová received her Ph.D in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2021.

In her research, Trejbalová examines the institutional misconduct and recidivism of system-affected populations, and the prison experience of incarcerated peoples. She has authored and co authored works that have appeared in publications such as Feminist Criminology, International Journal of Offender Therapy,Comparative Criminology, and Journal of Criminal Justice Education.

Throughout her professional career, Trejbalová has been involved in service work as a drug counselor in an aftercare center, working with drug using and homeless populations. Trejbalová will be instructing Criminal Justice 310, Law Enforcement.
